Gloria, ex-DECS, DoST secretary, dies at 66

FORMER Education Secretary Ricardo Gloria died on Sunday due to complications from diabetes.
He was 66.
According to his son, Bong Gloria, his father was first admitted to the Philippine Heart Center on May 25 because of problems with his heart.
On June 5, Gloria underwent a coronary bypass surgery. Yesterday, his son said an infection brought about by his diabetic condition led to his death at around 9:30 a.m.
Gloria’s body was brought to the Church Among the Palms inside the University of the Philippines campus in Los Baños, Laguna.
On Wednesday, his body will be brought to United Church of Christ in the Philippines in Digos, Davao del Sur. He will be buried on Sunday at the Digos Memorial Park.
